My TouchID isn't working, any advice on how to fix it?

For the past couple of days, my TouchID hasn't been working. I try to put my fingerprint in my phone and it won't take it. I tried restarting my phone and deleted all my fingerprints. My fingerprint works for other phones with the TouchID but not for mine. I don't know how to fix it. The phone isn't even a year old.
