Missing photos iPhone 6

My wife's iPhone is missing photos from February 2015 to June 2015. I checked on iCloud and they are missing there as well. There are photos from before then and after then on both the phone and iCloud. She hasn't changed her settings and didn't remember deleting hundreds of photos. Is there any option to locating the photos?
