Today not open a default options

The option today notification does not appear to add the default options like calculator, stocks

the solution is:



Basically you just

  1. Reboot in Recovery mode (CMD+R at the chime)
  2. From the recovery menu pick Terminal
  3. Run this command to (temporarily) disable SIP:
    csrutil disable
  4. Reboot into El Capitan
  5. Verify that the extensions are back in the sidebar and in system preferences
  6. Reboot in Recovery mode again
  7. At the Terminal re-enable SIP with run
    csrutil enable
  8. Reboot back into El Capitan. Everything should still be back and all is well.
