How do I install my photos from a month ago and nothing else

TimeMachine 1T How do I install photos from time machine from 30 days ago and not replace all my files. I accidentally deleted a few months of photos last month and want to get them back. Running Photos 1.2, OS X El Capitan.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

You cannot restore partial libraries.. it is all or nothing..


Restore the whole library to different location.. open it and export the pictures you need and import back.. although that is clumsy.. just use the older library.. and export the pictures from the newer one..


The iCloud connection can be used to restore photos.. if you use it.

It is important to see that Time Machine backs up the library as a whole and only the whole library can be restored.
