Q: why can't i download album art anymore?

I used to be able to upload my CD collection to iTunes and was able to download album art. However, in the past few months (possibly since my latest iTunes update) this has no longer been possible. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello AntheaHK,

     

    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. 

     

    I see that you are having issues downloading album artwork for your iTunes music. Here are a couple of articles that could help you resolve this issue. 

    First there is this with instructions on getting the missing artwork for your albums:

    If the artwork for some of your albums or songs is missing

    1. Open iTunes on your computer. Make sure that you have the latest version.
    2. Right-click or Control-click on the album that has artwork missing.
    3. Click Get Album Artwork. To select more than one album, hold down the command key and click additional albums. iTunes adds the album artwork. 
    4. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose File > Library > Update iCloud Music Library.
    5. After iTunes Match has finished updating, open the Music app on your iOS device.
    6. Find the the songs that are missing artwork, and delete them from your device.
    7. Tap the download icon   to the right of the song to download the song again from iCloud Music Library.
