Hi to everyone. Is anyboby in the know how Apple will process iPhone warranty cases in 2016 ? I heard that it will stop handling out new (ref) iphones for nonworking ones, just will do local repair of broken iphones in Apple stores.

I have seen no announcement at all from Apple about this.
I live in Ukraine and some russian internet media mentioned this. Does Apple still gives away new iphones in US in case of issues covered by Apple 1 year warranty?
They do not disclose new or refurbished.

I do not mean this . I mean if Apple still gives ref or new iphones or started to repair iphones locally in Apple stores.

They do both.
That isn't something that will start in 2016 but has already started. If the repair can be done in-store, and the parts are available, they will do a repair instead of replacement. This does not apply to all repairs or to all stores nor do you get to request a replacement instead of repair. It is at Apple's discretion as to which option they want to use.
OK, but here in Ukraine they still just do full exchange for a new device. And it is rumored strictly on Apple service in Ukraine that it will start repairing instead of changing quite soon.

Thanks for advice, but we have no stores here , just authorized resellers and authorized service providers and they in turn say nothing as to possible policy changes in 2016... Nevertheless thanks to all for answers.
Any warranty changes in 2016?
