I may have already posted this, but new to this. my daughter has an ipod with water damage. she attempted to turn it on. the screen did some crazy stuff, and she turned it off. She left in a bag of rice for over 5 days. it still does not turn on. is there any hope?

Unfortunately iPod is not waterproof. Usually phones and water do not mix and water damage is not covered by warranty. Corrosion has already started. You should schedule a genius appointment at theApple Store to appraise the level of damages. They will offer you the best solution. Good luck.
