Right Click "open with" option displaying bootcamp apps

When right clicking on a file, such as an image file, and then choosing "open with" from the context menu, I not only see the mac apps, but also all the widows apps installed on bootcamp that can open the files. Is there a way to disable this from happening.

It is also noted that there are several versions of each windows application showing. (see attached screenshot) This seem to be related to the fact I had vmware fusion installed at some point, but this was removed when VM fusion stopped supporting Windows Vista. So, the partition is now just a bootcamp partition, but appears to be still seeing several different virtual drives that were created with fusion.

I'm using oSX 10.11.1 on a late 2009 iMac

Any help in solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
