I have just bought a Mac Mini and it cannot recognize my Logitech z120 stereo speakers... what can I do to make them work? Thanks!!

This is the Mac Mini model that I have:

MGEN2LL/A Apple Mac mini

2.6GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz)

8GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM

I have installed El Capitan. I don´t know what to do to make the speakers be recognizable for the Mac.

Please help... these stereo speakers are wonderful, need them! 😢

Plug them into the headphone jack on the Mac. Make sure yo do not plug tem into the line-in jack.

Then they should work. Go to System Preferences>Sounds>Output and make sure that headphones are selected as the output.
