Can I set a cell reference or a function in the title of my table?

Is this possible? I've tried it but it doesn't seem to take it. Something like putting =TODAY().

I'd like my title to be: Todos "today's date" without me needing to update it each time.

Number does not support this. You cn post feedback to Apple using the menu item "Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback"

Hi BassPlaya,

You can't put a formula into a table title.

Here is one idea:

=TODAY() formula in a separate table (Table 1, Cell B1) That shows the current Australian date as I write, 2nd December, in case you are wondering.

That table can be anywhere in your document.

Formula in the To Do table, Cell C2 (and Fill Down)

=IF(A2=Table 1::B$1,"Today","")

Tasks for today show Today in Column C, else the formula will enter "" (NULL, blank).

Column C will update tomorrow.

Regards,

Ian.
