Macbook Pro Mid 2015 and WIFI 802.11ac issues

Hi,

I have several Macbook Pro's at home, and the latest one is a Mid 2015's. I recently upgraded my Wifi network to 802.11ac and the old laptops worked fine as they use 802.11n, however the latest one cannot connect to 5Ghz SSIDs as it tries to connect with the 802.11ac mode. Is anyone having the same or similar issues?, any tip to fix that? (so far what I have done is to limit my access points to only support 802.11/g/n).

I use OSX 10.11.1
