I am unable to get aspect ratio to fill the screen. The tv is set to 16/9 and all other devices fill the screen.
Thank you for any suggestion that might help resolve this frustrating problem.

Which devices are you talking about, are you using AirPlay.
Apple TV which goes through an onkyo receiver. The set up used to work fine now after update the screen is shrunk into top left corner.
Does the same happen if you connect the Apple TV directly to the TV.
I have not tried that as it would be really hard to do given the set up. But, I will try and let you know, thanks.
Unfortunately it does work. But all the surround sound and audio video are controlled through receiver.
I recently did a firmware update of the receiver.
The playstation and bluray work fine though.
I tried connecting to a different outsource and it works fine. Seems like it has something to do with the receiver and will pursue that.

Yes, I thought that might be the case, it might be better to ask Onkyo or on their forums if they have one.
if the receiver have optical in and the appletv is not the new version4 you can always connect the appletv by optical and handle the audio that way in the receiver though you may have to mute to tv to only get audio from one source
