Q: itunes store not loading in itunes

Itunes store not loading in itunes.   Running osx 10.6.8 and itunes 11.4.   Starts to load the store and fails with no error message.  Everything else in itunes works properly.  BTW this is the latest osx and itunes version I can run on the iMac.

 

Experimented on Widows PC and store loaded with same i.d.  Thus,  I.D. appears to be ok.

 

Appreciate any guidance on what the problem could be on my Mac.

    I found the root cause of the problem.   Had to change the date and time on my mac to a future date and the itunes store was able to connect to itunes.

    After completely the process,  I change the date and time back to the current date.  Problem solved.  Apparently this is a s/w bug.
