Feb 10, 2016 6:01 AM in response to coded_languageby Eric Nerenberg,Ditto on this issue. It's a big problem that should really be addressed in the next release.
And would a fix to this issue correct the multi-disc albums that are already downloaded to Apple Music on the SD card of the phone? Since I have >100 of those on my phone already, I'm hoping the Android fix would correct the track order without having to re-download each album.

Feb 18, 2016 12:57 PM in response to coded_languageby vertigelt,Yes please. I have a tone of multi-disc limited release soundtracks and having them play out of disc order is EXTREMELY annoying. My only recourse right now is to create a custom playlist and re-order the tracks for that album. No way I'm going to do that for the several dozen multi-disc albums I have, but it makes the album-listening experience worthless otherwise. Should be a simple fix, so I'm hoping an upcoming release addresses this.
This and star-ratings are the only things I've seen so far that's preventing me from putting my aging iPod Classic in a drawer forever. The subscription service is great and all, but simply being able to use my Android phone to Access my iTunes library is something I'm willing to pay over $100/year for all on its own.

Apple MusicBelieve me, I am extremely annoyed with this issue. Being a classical music fan, this is a HUGE no-no in that world. Apple needs to fix this ASAP, along with a landscape mode on tablets. Also, what's up with the support email they give on Google Play? It sends me the same response every time

Apple MusicI'm also baffled by why they haven't fixed this issue as well as a couple of other major flaws (like grabbing studio versions of live recordings with the same song name and being able to change star ratings of songs). It appears that they're simply ignoring the Android platform. I get that beta is beta, but a simple posting here by Apple techs that "we're working in this issue" would be all it would take. Without that, we have to assume they've moved on.

Jun 21, 2016 10:55 AM in response to vertigeltby vertigelt,So, I eventually did create playlists for my albums, because I really wanted to listen to them. It was really annoying to do for the couple dozen muslti-disc albums I already had, and then I procured about a dozen more over the past few months. Every time I ripped them from CD, I had to create a playlist. SO annoying, but functional (except, I still couldn't just play the album--I always have to navigate my playlists to play those albums).

Jun 21, 2016 10:58 AM in response to coded_languageby vertigelt,It wasn't mentioned at all in their release notes, but this was fixed in their latest release (version 0.9.10).
It's disappointing that no one from Apple appears to be reading these discussion boards. They should have acknowledged that it's a bug, that it was on their roadmap, and when they released the fix, they should have appended a comment here and closed the question as resolved. They might be reading them. But, if they are, there's zero indication of it. Way to foster a community, Apple.
