AApple news app not working. I tried the suggestions posted previously to no avail. My Apple news app screen is now blank and does not indicate an attempt at searching. I also tried re-downloading the app

There are no replies.
I tried the posted suggestions for fixing Apple news app and was unsuccessful. Any other ideas? I now have a completely blank screen with no searching indicator or anything else.
