how can I uninstall an OS? or roll back to the original OS?

As new OS rolled out, I upgraded my MacBook. Now that my MacBook is slow, I'd like to roll it back to its original OS. How could I do that?

PC, Mac OS X (10.4.8), how to install Mac's OS in a PC

Technically, you can't uninstall an OS. Otherwise you'd be trying to erase the OS while using it at the same time, not possible. You have to erase it and reinstall another. So, if you don't have a backup and another bootable partition, you run the risk of losing all of your data in the process.

Moral of the story, don't upgrade without a backup, preferably a bootable clone.
