Phishing via AppleID Verify ID

Anyone had this? Today I got a SMS supposedly from Apple saying my AppleID needed verifying because of failed login attempts, giving a bit.ly link. As I've had a large iCloud problem for several days I believed it, the link took me to an exact Verify ID page, with an inner page in total Apple style that I duly filled in with loads of information & credit card details. Only when the Submit button just flashed & none of the links on the page worked did I suspect something was up. Returning to my SMS I found that the phone details on the Apple source came up as A,,ple. Good joke. Got onto Apple Support (great guys) & emailed them grabs, cancelled the card. But it was a really good phish.
