Device stolen, new device displaying unknown email addresses in backup

My iPhone was stolen a day ago now at a music venue, and I had to wait until midday today to report it as stolen, just incase the venue found it. I've now reported the device stolen with both the police and through my provider, and got an old handheld device from my brother for use in the meantime. It was a 6+ but I've now got a 5c in the meantime.

Reinstalling updates to my brothers phone, I've gone to use my original Apple ID backups for my phone, but there are now email addresses that I have never heard of, tied to backups from before the phone was stolen. Are these to do with the person who's stolen my device? And should I contact the police in regards to this?

Thanks for any help, looking to get this sorted ASAP or will be heading into an Apple store tomorrow.

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.1, formerly on iPhone 6+
