Playlists from my iPad Air to iMatch?
Can I pull my playlists from my iPad Air and load directly to iMatch, or do I have to pull the playlist from my PC?
iPod classic 160GB (Late 2009), Windows 7

Hi,
The tracks should already be in the cloud. If you create a playlist on you iPad, it will appear in your iTunes library on your computer (and vice versa).

Thanks Jim; however, I was under the impression that the songs purchased through iTunes are in the cloud. What about those songs that were added via CD or weren't purchased through iTunes?
Hi,
Has iTunes match completed its scan of your iTunes library on your computer? if so, Matched, uploaded and purchased tracks will be in the cloud for use on your iPad where you have the option to stream them or make available offline.
Jim
I failed to mention that my computer crashed. So the playlist are no longer saved to iTunes on my PC, they're saved to my iPad Air.
Hi,
You can create new playlists from tracks already in iTunes Match on your iPad.
However, you need a computer to manage an iTunes Match account, such as adding new music that has not been purchased from iTunes Store.
I can't make any comment on what will happen to your music in the future. Maybe someone else on this forum can elaborate.
Jim
