How many bits has the monitor of the new iMac 27" 5k?

I edit photos and the new iMac with extended gamut could be a good solution for my work.

What is not clear to me is this:

in order to use a 10 bit workflow i need three main components:

-a graphic card that supports it

- the software

- a 10 bit display

Apple claims that with Os El Capitan they have unlocked billions of colors

and i am very happy with it but i woukd like to know if the monitor is an

ips 10 bit monitor or an 8 bit+2 frc?

Because from apple's advertise we know that El Capitan has introduced the driver

but we don't know much about the monitor type..

Please could you clarify this so i can place my order 🙂
