Numbers iOS text margins within the cell

I Need to adjust the margins around the text that are IN the table cells. I am not talking about text boxes. This is about the margins within the individual cells. I need to cram as many rows on a sheet as possible. Even though there is plenty of pixels above the letters iOS seems to lock in the top margin. Is there an option I'm missing somewhere? Please help

this is for using numbers on an iPad. Current iOS version.
