Some artists/playlists not visible through Bose Sound Touch

On windows - Most playlists and artists from music I downloaded from Itunes Store, are visible when I browse for them in Bose Sound Touch. However, many are not. For instance, Feist and Gorillaz are not. But Foster the People is. So, I make a playlist for Feist. Works fine in ITunes. I look for the playlist in Bose Sound Touch - not visible. I add a song from another artist to the playlist. Now the list is visible in Sound Touch - but ONLY that other artist, not any Feist music. All music was supposedly downloaded locally, not stored in the cloud (although, when I browse the Music/Itunes folder through Windows, I only see folders, and all the folders seem to be empty - this is for all the music and artists, not just the ones that won't show up in Bose Sound Touch.)
