iPhone has old Apple ID and we do not know the password

My friend is a 94 year old and has a MacBook Pro, iPhone and iMac. Here current Apple ID and password are being used on her App store, iMac and MacBook Pro. All there is fine.

Problem is the iPhone has an old Apple ID that is email@aol.comShe does not have the password. I have tried everything short of a complete wipe/reset.

Any other solutions? (She cannot receive any aol email from the old one for the same reason, forgot the password.

You may be able to edit the Apple ID here

Resetting the iPhone won't work - it will still be hung up on the activation lock - that is what the Apple ID was designed for - in other words turning off Find iPhone requires one to know their Apple ID and be able to provide the password

If the above does not work and you have the proof of purchase - you may be able to bring it to an Apple store for them to reset the phone.
