Screen Recording?

I urgently need a way to record what happens on my screen.
I have heard of a way to do this in iMovie some time ago, but I can't remember. Is there really a way to record inside iMovie? If not, is there another way to record you screen? For free? I have looked at a lot of commercial programs today, but I'm not willing to spend more than $10 for such a simple thing.

Yes, a great program, but it's a little outside my budget right now.

Hi R and Hi Sue

R try to record Your screen with Your Camcorder. Some can keep sync.
(no rolling screen) others can't. My TRV 900E captures it perfectly and
often this is enough for my use.

If this doesn't work You have to go with Sues professional approach.

I'm rather for paper and clip solutions as long as the result isn't to amateuristic.
