Q: My iPhone 6s was replaced. Now the photos won't sync with my macbook air

After replacing my iPhone 6+ and updating the operating system to iOS 9.1 I am unable to sync with iPhoto on my macbook air with OS X Yosemite

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), iOS 9.1

Have you tried syncing with the Photos application instead of iPhoto?
