Q: How to retrieve deleted shared album?

Hello, so I had a shared album with another person (hosted by this person) that was deleted by the following. Despite the fact my iCloud shows that the pictures and videos are still somewhere, but I cannot find them. How and where can I find them?

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), Mid 2014 13' Retina

Unless you imported teh photos to your library when the owner deleted the album they are gone from yoru access

I Did not. Can the owner bring them back? Also what is taking up my space online if not these pictures?

Shared albums do not count again online storage as pointed out in this Apple document: iCloud Photo Sharing FAQ - Apple Support.

Where are you getting the storage usage information? Is it in the System/iCloud storage preference pane?

No, settings, general, storage, etc. But I think my mistake- I guess what I was seeing is just my pictures and videos :/

How and where can I find them?
Do you have a Time Machine backup? The Shared albums are downloaded to your user library and be included in the Time Machine backup of your Home folder.

If you go back in time to before the owner deleted the shared album you might be able to restore the photos.
I am seeing the photos from all shared albums in the folder ~/Library/Application Support/iLifeAssetManagement/assets/sub-shared/
