Which browser/version?

What are you trying to do? Download something or ?

Are there other examples, or does it only happen on YouTube?

Report what AdBlock add-ons you use in all your browsers AND the Browser Names and versions

If this is NEW, what event immediately preceded its onset? - add software, upgrade or update? New equipment? ANYTHING at all.

ABP (and maybe others) can have 'unexpected consequences' for SOME folks. Disable from the drop down in the toolbar of your browser. You also might try Firefox if you have not already.

The next thing I would try is starting your browser(s) in Safe mode to disable ALL add-ons... if that works, add them back one at a time to find the culprit.

I don't use Chrome or Safari, but in Firefox, I have button on the Firefox [Help] menu > Troubleshooting Information page = "Restart with add-ons disabled..."

You need to disable browser add-ons as described in the article "5 Ways to Disable Add Ons - wikiHow" until you isolate the culprit
