Q: I am unable to export my video since I keep getting errors, please help!
I am using a Macbook Pro.
Mac OS X Version 10.8.5
Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Final Cut Pro X
Version 10.0.9
DISCLAIMER: I can not upgrade to Mavericks as I don't have any means to backup my computer. So please do not tell me to upgrade to Mavericks as I don't want to risk any lost files okay?
So I've been using this software all day yesterday & it's been fighting me every step of the way. I finished editing a video & I would like to save it as a mp4 or any video file, but I can't. Every time I try to share the file it keeps giving me either one of these messages.
The "2033" frame was when I had my video ready to go with all the images and titles on it, and/or maybe when I tried sharing it under "Video & Audio". The quicktime error popped up & I think that was when I just wanted to upload the video by itself because at that point I just wanted to find the problem. Or maybe the quicktime error popped when I had everything ready to go. I apologize, I can't remember since I'm stressed at the moment and I don't know what to do.
Be advised: Yesterday was my very first day I've ever used Final Cut Pro X. So assume that I'm a total novice at this.
Please provide me steps on how to fix these problems. I really hope there's nothing wrong with my video file because that's the only file I have. I'm just combining my video file and three still images that fade in the beginning and at the end. That's it. The video file is about 7 minutes long and I really hope there aren't any other frames that will give me errors or worse, that they might be corrupted. This software is actually legitimately ******* me off and I would like any help from you guys. Any assistance and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading.
