How OS The Captain work in a MacBook Pro 2.53 ghz intel core 2 duo .
I got 10.6.8 there is any better than this to work good with this model

Keep in mind, v10.6.8 Snow Leopard is a very outdated OS X.
Your MacBook Pro must be (Mid / Late 2007) or newer to run El Capitan.
Very important to read this user tip prior to upgrading from Snow Leoaprd > Upgrading to 10.7 and above, don't forget Rosetta!
Also, any third party software you have installed may not be compatible with v10.11 El Capitan. Check the vendor websites for compatibility. The includes software for peripherals such as printers or scanners.
