magicJack is not working with El Capitan - any fixes that any of you have mJ users have found?
It keeps asking to replug it to be found and when it does seem to start up it connects for a fraction of a second and then says it can't find an internet connection... magicJack help is of no use - they suggest restarting about 25 times!

I have a message recently from CustomerServiceMgr@majicjack.com, suggesting to install the update of MJ for El Capitan with http::/upgrades.majicjack.com/mjipdate.dmg
I don't know if that a legitimate update or a virus - I have not installed it yet. I would like to wait what Apple Customer service would say about it.
Did somebody try to use that update?

Is magicjack for El Capitan I can only see it as as available for iPhones and iPads which of course use iOS.
Ok stand corrected you can use it on macs. I found this page dated December with instructions on how to get it
working, hope it does. Tried the download link and it did start to download

as of 28 march 2016, magic jack now works with el capitan -
call magic jack support and follow their notes about upgrading magic jack software
tested magic jack and it works fine thru 10.11.4 aka el capitan
