2 questions here please:

During the unlocking process: It says i need to erase all contents from my iPhone 5s. So, what about my contacts? how do i get these back? because the icloud backup does not do it nor the iTunes.

Also, what happens if I do not erase the content? Will that prevent my phone form being unlocked?

thanks much

You do need to erase all content from your phone as part of the unlocking process.  If you have your phone set to back up Contacts to iCloud, they will be backed up and then can be later reloaded onto your phone after erasing it.  I just did with two iPhone 5's it and it worked fine.  Also do a complete backup to your computer via iTunes, and transfer anything that isn't already backed up if it asks you.  The only issue I ran into was that some apps did not come back and I had to manually re-install them.
