Homekit invite not working

Same issues everyone else is having.... have tried everything but nothing works.

Did see a post that this was a known bug and that a fix was coming out from Apple. Received an update on my phone this morning hoping this was the magic fix but still not working after update.

The only thing I have not tried is changing the @me.com... @icloud.com which I am not using. Perhaps I am not understanding the fix but it sounds like change all of your iCloud to a different email address??? If so, "#*&^" that.... I have too many emails floating around and am not about to start switching things over just to make this work... Am I misunderstanding something?

This is not working for me. When I sign out and sign back in on my apple tv with my @icloud.com account it reverts back to my @mac.com account. I still cannot receive any home kit invitations from my wife's account.

Have same issue. I had reset HomeKit, relogin from iCloud on two devices, reboot, many times resend invites, but still nothing - invites doesn't show on other devices

Have same issue. I also tried that same things as Drafted. What's really weird is my wife received the invitation on her iPad but not on her iPhone. Both devices are logged into iCloud the same way. I deleted her invitation and re-invited her and now she isn't receiving the invitation on either device. We are running iOS 9.2.1 on all devices.

Did you end up resolving this? I found another thread that had a suggestion that worked for me! It is using their email address with "@icloud.com" that did it. I was using the me.com address. Here is what they said "The solution that worked for me is this: Make a working installation on one device (in my case a iPhone6 and set it all up including enabling siri voice commands in the Hue app). Next, in installation>homekit on this 'master' device, sent an invite to the other user on his @icloud.com address, this one is important, do not use the @me.com address. For some reason it only works with the @icloud.com address. Then the other user is also able to execute siri voice commands to the Hue. Works flawlessly."

This solution worked for me too! my icloud account had the "@me.com" extension but when i logged out of all of my devices and relogged in with the @icloud.com extension, everything worked and i was able to invite multiple users.

What fixed this for me was first inviting myself.

After that i was able to invite other people without this error

No luck here with iOS 10.3.3. I couldn't sent invites.

I cannot invite myself.

I can invite myself but I can't invite others with valid iCloud account. Also with Family users.
