Deactivating a phone without having the Apple ID

Hello Friends,

I have decided to part with my daughter's old IPHONE 4S. The phone was linked to an old Apple ID of mine. I do not remember what it was. I have changed my ID several times over the years. The phone says I need to deactivate it from the Apple ID. How do I do this if I do not know the Apple ID?

I have looked on my IMAC and this phone is not listed as one of my devices.

Please help!

Sorry but there isn't a way without the Apple ID and password. It is an anti-theft deterrent and wouldn't be effective if there was a bypass.

If you have proof of purchase (i.e., you keep more paperwork than I do!) you could take it to an Apple Store for help. The other option would be to get help to recover the ID and password. The following links may help with that:
