After upgrading to OS X El Capitan, Canon MP160 won't print

After upgrading to OS X El Capitan (Version 10.11.1), Canon MP160 won't print. I had already downloaded a driver so it can print but it was useless. Anyone know what can it be the solution?

Thanks

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

After much googling, I found Gutenprint which includes a driver that allows the Canon MP160 to work within El Capitan:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-print/

First, delete your printer from system preferences > printers & scanners. Download and install Gutenprint. Add your printer, and in the "use" dropdown box, select the driver that says Canon MP160 Gutenprint. I did all this and it's printing again without even restarting!
