Finder column view bug hampers functionality and flow!
I upgraded to El Capitan, a decision I now strongly regret. Apple, what have you done to the functionality of Finder? After the upgrade, when I save a document in a folder I can no longer view the full path automatically in Column view in the dialogue box. Every time I save a document, I have to navigate throughout my folder hierarchy because the dialogue box simply does not display the full path by default.
It has always showed me the full path since I began using mac in 2009, but now in El Capitan you have decided to, for some reason, remove this functionality and make it more time consuming and frustrating to save a file.
I have seen other threads on this issue but none have given me a satisfactory answer. This person has the same problem, but none of these solutions are at all satisfactory to the problem, as they only provide workarounds that are not really helpful, they don´t solve the problem and return the functionality.
Please tell me how to ALWAYS display a file´s full path in Finder and the dialogue box, in the correct manner, the way column view should work and has always worked in the past, and NOT have it remove the path from view.
