Q: My Dell printer no longer works as I have upgraded to elCapitan. As I am not savvy enough to uninstall el Capitan and revert to Yosemite I need to buy a new printer. Can anyone tell me which All-in-one colour laser printers are compatible, please?

New printer required

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

First, have you tried going to Dell's web site to see if there is a 10.11 (El Capitan) driver that you need?

If you really do want a new printer, Epson, HP, Canon, Brother, Lexmark and others are compatible. Check here.

What makes you think the printer no longer works?
You may perhaps just need a new driver.
What is your printer model?
