The configuration time of our new iMac lasts very long. Is this normal?
We are allready waiting for one hour.
Is this normal and what should be the average configuration time?

I'd recommend reading http://www.apple.com/support/complimentary/ and begin using it. If you are outside the USA then please use the AppleCare number in your country, you will likely find the number in the manual (maybe online) that came with the computer.
