Q: How can I go about outputting the same "display" through my HDMI port AND my Thunderbolt port (with a VGA adapter attached) at the same time?

I am currently running El Capitan on Mid 2014 15" Macbook Pro (Retina).

I am trying to project the same image out of my HDMI port and Thunderbolt port (with a VGA adapter attached) WITHOUT the use of Display Mirroring. When I do this currently, it is forcing a different "display" or "space" for each port. I can rearrange these spaces, but cannot remove one?

Alternatively, I'm trying to do the same by attached 2 VGA cables out through my two separate Thunderbolt ports.

Any ideas?
