Syncing programs/applications

I have a question...

I have a Mac Mini and a Macbook pro both with Yosemite (not the new one yet) and I have my programms like Pages 09 and also scrivener for example on it. Now when I do work on my Mac Mini an go to my Laptop after I see the programms are not synced. Like work I have done on Pages or Scrivener or other Apps do not show what I have done on my Mac Mini.

Please maybe it sounds silly ;-) but is there a way I can sync the Apps on the computers?! Icloud settings?!

Thanks so much guys 🙂

Any help appreciated xx

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

iWorks 9.2 (July 2012) added support for iCloud. If you upgrade you can store your docs in iCloud to sync iWorks files.,

For most other aps you can use an app/service like Dropbox and can use that with older iWorks.

You can also upgrade iWorks further (not called iWorks but the individual apps)

and setup iCloud Drive to use that to sync what every you place I your iCloud drive, You need Yosemite or later
