Q: Macbook shuts off when brought out of sleep mode
I suspect it might be labeled as a power issue, but not sure. For two times today, I had put my macbook to sleep on several occasions as I tend to work and move a lot. One time, I brought my macbook on out of sleep mode, and as I was about to log in, the screen suddenly turns dark. I attempt to power it on, and I notice the "white light" on the rim of the macbook blink and a beeping noise sound. So I hold the power button to try rebooting the computer, and the macbook seem to turn on like normal, and I am able to work. When I put the macbook to sleep again and boot it up later on, the problem occurs again, and I am forced to repeat the process. The third run around, I decide to use disk utility to diagnose for any problems with the hardware, and find none. I've yet to do an SMC reset or disk check-up from restart, but I'm wondering if this is a problem I should have diagnosed, or if there's a simpler way to resolve it. As best as I can tell, the only application I keep running while I put the macbook to sleep is firefox, as I regularly use the browser for work. If anyone has had a similar problem, please tell me your solutions for this.
