Q: AirDrop Problems

A few weeks ago I was able to seamlessly transfer files from my iPod touch 5 to my MacBook Pro (mid 2012) just fine. Lately neither my iPod nor my iPad Air is able to see my MacBook, but my MacBook is able to see either mobile device just fine. My Mac mini works fine with AirDrop no problem, so I'm assuming there's something turned off in the background on my MacBook? Is there any code, repair, or some sort of thing I can do to fix this problem?

1. I moved both bluetooth network listings at the top of the network connections list.

2. Stealth mode is turned off and additional firewall options are set the same as on my Mac mini.

3. Both iPad Air and iPod are running iOS 8.4.1. Both Macs are running the latest of Yosemite.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 2012, 15in, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM

After playing around with enabling and disabling WiFi and Bluetooth while AirDrop was turned on and off from iOS, my MacBook finally was recognized! So I'm assuming there is no actual fix for this glitch. It's just a matter of fiddling (refresh) with the controls on the iOS device, despite it being able to recognize my Mac mini just fine.
