I bought a new Itouch and charged the battery overnight from an outlet. That was 2 weeks ago. I just connected it to the computer to set it up and the battery is dead. The wifi is OFF and in airplane mode. How long should the charge hold when not used ? It is in an air conditioned home.

was it just asleep or totally powered down? Batteries will last longer if the device is totally off.
I thought I turned if off. I am not sure. It could have been asleep but with the WiFi off, I really thought it would hold the charge longer than 2 weeks. Am worried that it came with a bad battery.
It was not used at all. WiFi off. Just sitting on the desk.
How long will my new Itouch battery stay charged if not used ?
