Dec 4, 2015 9:24 AM in response to Dernestby GhonaZ,★HelpfulThat depends on your model: if you have a model with a removable battery than yes. If you have a model with a non removable battery than you can try but the battery is glued into place and you would be better of sending it in for service.
You can look up if and how you can replace your battery on sites like Ifixit.com and OWC (macsales.com).

Dec 4, 2015 4:31 AM in response to Dernestby OGELTHORPE,If the MBP is a retina model, Apple should do it. If it is a non retina model, you can do it. You will need a #0 Triwing driver for the battery installation if you have to take off the bottom cover of the MBP.
