Q: Ipad Air Touchscreen Not Responding all the Time

For the last week the touchscreen response has become intermittent on my Ipad Air, sometimes it works fine and others it either doesn't respond or the simplest touch makes goes as if I was holding down a icon for a long period (makes the icons shake).

I have the latest software version, soft resets will sometimes fix the issue, and I completed a hard reset last night but the issue remains this morning.

Any thoughts???
