iPhone 5 back camera, flash, and panorama not working!

SO I just upgraded my iPod 5 to an iPhone 5 and I noticed that most of the features that the iPod didn't have doesnt work on the iPhone. I used the same Apple id to setup the iPhone and I even updated the device to the newest iOS. The back camera, the flash, and even the panorama setting is not working whatsoever. when it comes up it keeps a picture of my face and blurs it a lot. I'd like to avoid the possible charge Apple would ask for to fix it. I've already tried the hard resets and everything. Just give me yalls. ideas.User uploaded file

Hello Mojache,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see from your post that your camera's screen is completely black, even after forcing it to restart. To continue troubleshooting this issue I suggest that you follow through the steps below.

You see a closed lens or black screen

If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:

  1. Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
  2. Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
  3. Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
  4. If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping User uploaded file . If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

Get help with the camera on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Take care.
