Q: iPad won't connect to my wifi

Hello,

I am having issues with my 4th generation iPad with ios version 9.1 connecting to my wifi.  I have read the forums and tried all the fixes I could find.

     1. turn off wifi and turn back on.

     2. Restart ipad

     3. Forget Networks

     4. Renew Leases

     5. Reset network settings

     6. Restart router(unplugged for longer than a minute)

     7. Router firmware is up to date

     8. Reset all settings on Ipad

     9. turned off wifi networking

These steps weren't done exactly in this order, but I have tried them all.  We are actually having problems with all of our Apple products(2 Macbook Pros, 2 iPhones, and 2(soon to be 3) iPads.

We have a Motorola SBG6782-AC's.  Everything else for the most part works fine. I have also moved the modem to a higher more central location and still no luck.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Hi

Have you turned OFF your router for  30 seconds

Have you done a WiFi speed test.

Take ipad to a friend to see if it works on that wifi

If it does  ask your network provider to test/ replace router

    Also check all connections.

    Cheers

    Brian

Thank you for your response. I have tried all of the above suggestions. Turned router off for about 2 minutes.  Talked to ISP yesterday and the wifi all checks out.  The iPad connects at my mom's house.  All other devices at my home connect just fine(android phones, dell desktop and laptop and smart tv's).  Only problems we are having are with the Apple products.

    Thanks again.

I had a similar issue a few years back. It was fixed by having my ISP change a setting on their end.  Try calling your ISP again and make sure they know that it is all Apple devices that won't connect. Thank you for your response.  We ended up changing the router settings for channels from auto to a set channel.  For now everything is online.  We will see if it keeps working.  Thanks again for your responses, it is much appreciated!
