Dec 4, 2015 8:49 AM in response to Bill Kby Linc Davis,To give other users read-only access to your iTunes library, use the Sharing features of iTunes. Sharing works over the local network as well as on the same computer. See the built-in help for details.
If you want to give full read/write access to more than one user, see this support article. The article refers to iPhoto, but the same method will work for Photos and iTunes libraries.
There is a way to share the library without moving it to a secondary volume. If you really need to do that, ask for instructions.

Dec 4, 2015 10:06 AM in response to Linc Davisby Limnos,Not that sharing a common library file can be done but only one copy of iTunes can do so at a time. You will have to make sure you quit iTunes before switching users.
I believe iTune's "sharing" will let you play tracks from another user but I don't know if you see the library presented as playlists, and you certainly cannot modify anything except from the primary user account.
