Dec 4, 2015 8:51 AM in response to PamKWby sebster101,The MacBook Pro keyboard automatically lights up when it detects there is low light, and is automatically disabled when the light sensor detects enough light. If you are asking how to override the sensor and turn the backlight on regardless of the lighting, you can adjust this in System Preferences > Keyboard.
