I want to strengthen my wifi signal and I'm getting conflicting advice. I use my Time Capsule as my wifi source. I see an numebr of wifi extenders on Amazon, but which one works best with TC? Are these devices plug and p;ay?

What works 'best' with the TC is either another TC, AirPort Extreme, or AirPort Express base station as these all use the same propriety technology for extending a wireless network.
In addition to the comments from Tesserax, none of the "extenders" that you might see....including Apple products.... are "plug and play", but the setup on another Apple product would be very easy compared to the setup on another brand, which may not even work with the Time Capsule since Apple has designed their products to only work with other Apple products.
An AirPort Express might do just what you want. If you buy from Apple, you have a 14 day return privilege to return the AirPort Express for a refund or another product if you are not satisfied with the Express.
