Dec 9, 2015 12:36 PM in response to turingtest2by SIAPrez,It makes me wonder......I think blowing up this new PC is the option. It only started to act up (I still can't load newest update to ITUNES) when this P.O.S. was put into service....

Dec 22, 2015 4:28 PM in response to SIAPrezby stopheles,I've done everything suggested in this post (deleted the AppData files, uninstalled and reinstalled) and the problem remains - trying to get info on an inserted CD nets the popup reading "no error." This is VERY frustrating, even moreso when I see that this is a problem that's been going for over a year.
Anything else I/we can try? -
Dec 31, 2015 4:48 PM in response to SIAPrezby offroad99,I've been frustrated with this as well and finally got this fixed and it was pretty easy after all. Steps I took:
- Close iTunes
- open terminal (or do it some other way)
- cd ~/Library/Preferences
- mv com.apple.iTunes.plist ~/com.apple.iTunes.plist.bak
- Launch iTunes
On launch after step 5, it asked me to accept an end user agreement and then it just worked with the CD that was already inserted. Yay!!!!!!!
